New Training Dates Available

Some new dates are now available for FREE training sessions on Searching the healthcare literature. These sessions will show you how to access and search online healthcare resources, including full-text journals and databases such as Medline and CINAHL. The sessions are on:

• Thursday, 3rd, February (9.30 - 12.30)


• Thursday, 24th, February (9.30 - 12.30)

NHS Evidence Specialist Collections

Have you seen the NHS Evidence Specialist Collections? These ensure that you can find the best available evidence including the latest guidelines, systematic reviews and research. There are

18 collections which focus on particular health problems - for example, diabetes, stroke;

5 collections which focus on specific patient groups - for example child health, learning disabilities;

11 collections which focus on aspects of health services such as public health, screening.
